HOW TO DANCE TANGO?
Tango dance, which is the dance of passion and love, is generally known as the Argentine Tango, but it has other styles too. The main Tango instrument in the music that plays while Tango is "Bandoneon". This is the most important source of the passionate rhythms of Tango.
 
Improvisation and emotional transfer is the key element of Tango. Although there are different styles of Tango, the steps of each style are similar. Trainings begin with teaching the basic steps as a couple. Basic combination structures and shapes, posture techniques and body use are the main topics of basic level training.
In Tango dance, where the female dancer is more prominent, dances are performed together with fluent music in prominent and hard rhythms of 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4. Tango does not have standard rules, so anyone who has improvisation skills can learn Tango.

WHAT ARE TANGO DANCE STYLES?
Tango courses are generally given under the name of Argentine Tango. However, there are different styles of Tango. Since it is an improvised dance, each couple can even create a unique style. The main styles of Tango are:

• Ballroom style: It has a diversity in steps and turns. Holding style is more relaxed so the couples have more ease in their movements.
• Show Style: Also called fantasy, is a type of Tango with fast and sharp movements.
• Milonguero Style: In this tango style, foot movements are slow and simple.

Apart from these; there are also styles such as Oriental, Nuevo, Canyengue, Liso, Orillero, Ballroom, Finnish Tango.

TANGO COURSE DURATION - PROGRAM
Tango courses generally progress in the form of levels. 2 - 3 months courses are sufficient to learn the basic steps and figures. However, it will be healthier to continue for at least 6 months in order to progress and dance more technically and aesthetically. In order to be a professional Tango dancer, you need to study more than 6 months.
